I am not vegetarian but when you live with one, sometimes, your eating habits eventually adapt. Or mine have anyways.
In the past if there was no meat or (occasionally) some form of sea food on the plate, did that even count towards being a meal?
Now, when I do eat meat/seafood, I treat it as a complimentary element to my meal, rather than the pièce de résistance.
Reading The Third Plate had something to do with that too.
